Staying here was a delightful experience as everything you need for a weekend stroll is just a quick drive away, with the famed Monterey Aquarium and Cannery Row only about a 10-minute drive from the hotel, plus attractions like the Monterey County Fairgrounds just 500 meters down the road; I found the hotel to be clean, comfortable with friendly staff that made my stay enjoyable, but the breakfast could use more variety to elevate the overall experience.

This property strikes a balance between value and basic comfort. The staff was friendly and accommodating. A special shoutout to Erika for her exceptional assistance. The heated pool was a delight, especially for kids. The proximity to attractions is a plus. there are significant areas for improvement. Our room was upstairs, inconvenient for families. Mold was present in the shower and on the sliding door. Cleanliness needs attention; it felt dated, and the breakfast was underwhelming—particularly concerning the moldy bagel. Noise from adjacent rooms was disruptive. Attention to these issues would greatly enhance the experience. This establishment has potential, but diligence is essential.

The beds were comfortable, leaning towards the firmer side, which I appreciated. I loved that we had a faux balcony; it allowed fresh air in and kept the noise of the air conditioner at bay. The room size was decent, featuring two queen beds and a small desk. Pillows felt soft, but the actual bed frame had some squeaks. The bathroom was ample, but the water pressure was a bit low. The TV had many channels, perfect for downtime. The location was excellent, close to restaurants and attractions, making it convenient for our trip.

Immerse yourself in history with a walk through adobe homes. After sightseeing, need to unwind with a swim in the pool. Get an early morning boost with Bear Bites breakfast.
My room felt like a basement, perfect for vaping, pot smoking, and breakfast bag disappointment.

The staff was absolutely delightful, especially the girl at the front desk – she deserves a raise! I loved the spacious room with a sliding glass door leading to our own little patio by the pool. Breakfast was fantastic, and the location was quiet, perfect for some relaxation time!

Plenty of parking spaces available and the hotel is conveniently close to the historic downtown area, making it easy to explore the city. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked with fresh towels, soap, and shampoo, providing a comfortable stay during my New Year's trip.
The room had a dirty carpet with a bad smell, and I found a dirty cup under the bed, indicating poor cleanliness standards. Breakfast offered was disappointing, with only a small paper bag containing minimal items like juice, an apple, and a granola bar.

We liked the friendly staff and comfy beds. The location was convenient, close to stores, attractions, and restaurants. Plus, the grab, and, go breakfast bags were a hit with the kids.
The rooms were outdated and the beds uncomfortable. The floors felt dirty, needing a Clorox wipe, down.

I have to give a shoutout to Ricardo at the front desk. His welcoming attitude and friendly demeanor really made us feel at home right away. The pool being heated was a nice touch, allowing us to enjoy a swim even on chillier days. And being just 5 minutes away from Del Monte beach was super convenient for some relaxing seaside walks. there were a few drawbacks that I think could be addressed. The cleanliness of the rooms left something to be desired, with noticeable dirt in various areas. The breakfast situation was a bit disappointing as well, with just a minimal offering in a paper bag that felt more like a snack than a proper breakfast. the room itself could use some updating. The space inside the shower/toilet area was quite cramped, making it uncomfortable to use. The furniture seemed a bit tired and the room felt dark due to a lack of adequate lighting.

We chilled by the sickest heated pool ever – talk about vibes! Then, we hit up the aquarium with the craziest huge windows, like, mind-blowing! Next to it was this epic golf course where we played 36 holes – total ballers!
Yo, if this spot had a sick nightclub or a rad party scene, it would be off the charts for us young peeps! .

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel during our family road trip in Monterey. The continental breakfast provided a variety of options and the staff member in charge of it was amazing. The room was spacious and appeared to be recently renovated, giving it a modern and comfortable feel. The location was perfect, being only a mile away from the beach and close to all the golf courses we wanted to play. The pool was a delightful bonus, especially for our children who enjoyed the shallow area. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. it was a great value for the money, offering all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay.
Some of the rooms do not have air conditioning. We happened to be on the wrong side of the pool, and our room became quite hot despite keeping the shades closed all day.

After a day of sightseeing, we relaxed by the heated outdoor pool open from March to October, creating lasting family memories.

we had a great experience at Travelodge. the staff were exceptional, both at check-in and check-out, along with maintenance. they were all helpful and professional. the room was good - simple, clean, large, and comfortable. the hotel was not too big, so finding the room was easy. we enjoyed the access to the outside, with a sliding door and parking outside the room. the hotel is located just 5 minutes away from Del Monte beach. the pool was heated and the on-site restaurant had delicious food at a fair price. we appreciated the ability to split the payment into two different cards.

I chose this hotel for its proximity to Cannery Row, a place I've always wanted to visit. The free wifi and tour assistance were unexpected bonuses. The onsite sushi bar, Oh Sushi, served delicious meals, and the complimentary continental breakfast was a great way to start the day.

travelodge was clean and well situated close to the highway exit side. the pool was great, and the breakfast was good. erika was super nice and helpful - got us the room we wanted by the pool and knew who i was at check-in.
